Once upon a Thrice There was a Crooked House That had a Crooked Walk That ended in a Crooked Box Where Once upon a Thrice I left letters for a wonderous Girl The Letters were Metered Those Letters each Lined Each in their own turn Courting Symmetry's Endrhyme Each for that Mysterious Girl of every-time Once upon the Snows Once upon the Downpours Once upon the Still of Solem Nights I Crept with care to the Box's Crooked Door All for a chance to speak in that Crooked World Perhaps with more than thrice I began to dream of a Crooked Kiss Mayhaps a threefold Embrace as perfect as Pearl So I left a Strand with my name as Charm in the Crooked Box without Harm In my own Box that day I discovered Strand tied to noose, name left to hang Once Upon a Thrice I learned that a Crooked World Doesn't make a Crooked Girl Once Upon a Thrice
